This project is basically a E-commerce application providing different media conversion services.

My Responsibilities

• Worked in this project as lead software engineer, handled team of 3 devs.
• Used Next 13 as frontend and was responsible for developing the backend of the project in NEST JS using graphQL queries to get and save data
• Worked on Integration Paypal Payment with credit card integrations using hosted fields.
• Integrate STRAPI for dynamic blog rendering.
• Worked on complex logic for basket, storage, discount and checkout functionality.
• Worked on making functional UI as per the requirements.
• Used POSTMARK email service, AWS S3 bucket, Reviews.io as well.
• Used GraphQL, Rest APIs, MongoDb, Next 13, SSR Components, Nest and many more.
• Worked on the SEO Optimisation with best practices as per the document provided by the SEO team.

Challenges & Solutions

Implementing complex logic for basket, storage, discount, and checkout functionality while ensuring a seamless user experience was a significant challenge. Additionally, integrating various third-party services (PayPal, STRAPI, POSTMARK) required careful planning and implementation.

Outcome

The application successfully provides media conversion services with a smooth e-commerce experience, including payment processing, dynamic content, and optimized performance.
